First lets solve the military tone to so many of them. The green beret on the sword in the Tribute photo is mine. It was issued to me in 1970. I am a combat veteran and that has colored alot of my poetry. I am a trained sniper, and was disabled during a training exercise. After leaveing the military I did a few years of government service, aned a few years as a freelance military man (mercenary).
The movie Soldier I own on both vhs tape and DVD. I love the movie even though I agree it is not the best made movie, but because I understand what he is going through.
Rebirth, yes it is about my wife.
The Chaos poem speaks to so many, on such a deep primal level. When I wrote it I though no one would understand how I was feeling. Boy, was I ever wrong on that one.

I want to compliment you as being only one of two people to ever get the snake symbolism in 'Yet Again'. It was intentionl on my part and only one other person has ever gotten it, he was my room mate in college. He was also an ex-ranger who had gone through sniper school.
